Drum Art is an Italian artisan company. We handcraft professional snare drums and drumsticks with care and dedication. We are cabinetmakers, we love music, we are drummers. We want to innovate the world of percussion, contributing to improving the sound experience for both players and listeners.
Our production takes place entirely and strictly in Italy. The materials used, from the various types of wood to the metal alloys, are of the highest quality. We also like to have maximum control over the product, which is why the design of the snare drum’s hardware components is also carried out in-house.

The Drum Art project was born in 2004 from the passion, in-depth studies, tenacity and technological ingenuity of Silvano Biancucci, an expert cabinetmaker, who created the first prototypes of slatted snare drums. From the outset, they have been recognised as instruments of the highest quality, incredibly well-made, with exceptional sensitivity, volume and tone.
Drum Art quickly gained the acclaim of great musicians and prestigious orchestras, who chose Biancucci’s products, giving rise to solid professional relationships, such as those with the Orchestra del Teatro alla Scala in Milan and the Pearl company.
Today, the Drum Art brand represents Italian craftsmanship excellence worldwide.

We work closely with extraordinary musicians, listening to their desires, needs and issues related to performance, live sound and recording studio sound. This has enabled us to develop first-class snare drums and drumsticks without exhausting our desire for constant improvement. Every musician deserves the best, and our aim is to create unique, high-quality instruments that overcome the obstacles encountered by artists in their work, allowing them to experience the real satisfaction of being able to count on an instrument with excellent performance, our presence, assistance and continuous research.
